Di situ hanya ada dia sendirian. Maka dia pun menyanggah, "Manakah saksi-saksi yang kau maksudkan? Di sini tidak ada sesiapa pun kecuali aku suaramu. Inilah saksi-saksi itu," ujar Malaikat Tiba-tiba, mata berbicara, "Saya yang memandang." Disusuli oleh telinga, "Saya yang mendengar." Hidung pun tidak ketinggalan," Saya yang mencium." Bibir mengaku, "Saya yang merayu." Lidah menambah, "Saya yang menghisap." Tangan meneruskan, "Saya yang meraba dan meramas." Kaki menyusul, "Saya yang di pakai lari tidak ketahuan." Nah.. kalau kubiarkan, seluruh anggota tubuhmu akan memberikan kesaksian tentang perbuatan aibmu itu", ucap malaikat. Ia putus asa dan amat berduka kerana sebentar lagi bakal dihumban ke dalam neraka jahanam.

Tatkala itu, sekonyong-konyong terdengar suara yang amat lembut dari selembar bulu matanya. "Saya pun ingin juga mengangkat sumpah sebagai saksi. "Silakan..", kata malaikat. "Terus terang saya katakan, menjelang ajalnya, pada suatu tengah malam yang sunyi... aku pernah dibasahi dengan air matanya ketika dia sedang menangis menyesali perbuatan buruknya. Bukankah nabinya pernah berjanji.... bahawa apabila ada seorang hamba bertaubat, walaupun selembar bulu matanya sahaja yang dibasahi air mata, diharamkan baginya api neraka? Maka saya selembar bulu matanya berani tampil sebagai saksi bahawa dia telah melakukan taubat sampai membasahi saya dengan air mata penyesalan.

Dengan kesaksian selembar bulu mata itu, orang tersebut telah terlepas dari seksaan azab api neraka dan dihantar ke syurga. Sehingga terdengar suara bergaung kepada para penghuni syurga, "Lihatlah hamba Tuhan ini telah masuk ke syurga kerana pertolongan selembar bulu mata."

Firman Allah swt "Demi masa, sesungguhnya manusia itu benar-benar berada dalam kerugian, kecuali orang-orang yang beriman dan beramal soleh, saling ingat mengingati supaya mentaati kebenaran dan mengingati pada kesabaran." Surah Al-Asr.
